Dental assistant was very thorough cleaning my teeth and had to be a little aggressive on my back molars. She said there was some numbing solution if I would like before she began but I told her I would tuff it out. Afterwards Dr. Lipe came in reviewed the x-rays and filed down of a small chip in a front tooth. I have been visiting Dr. Lipe for over 10+ years.Very good operation.

Although this was only my first appointment with Dr Lipe, I must admit I am very impressed. My last dentist (who no longer takes my insurance) was capable, Dr. Lipe identified things going on in my mouth that my last dentist showed little interest in. After my X-rays, he explained in great details things in the X-rays that I never knew. I have been going to many dentists over the years (mostly good ones), and I learned stuff I wish I had known a long time ago. I have been looking for a good dentist for a couple of years. I am confident that I have found the right one. Everyone (staff & Dr.) super pleasant and competent. I didn't have to wait 45 minutes like some office visits I have had. And they even laughed at my jokes. What more could I ask for? Big thumbs up. More reviews as they happen (and there will be many, I am sure.)

I was having pain in my back tooth. Got to the point where I had trouble sleeping and couldn't chew. A friend highly recommended Dr. Lipe. I was able to get an appointment the next day. Dr. Lipe was immediately able to diagnose the problem and suggest the solution and possible outcomes. I had a root canal on the spot. Let me tell you I hate needles and wasn't thrilled to have to have this procedure done, but it really was surprisingly comfortable. I hardly knew I even had gotten the shot, and I felt virtually nothing throughout the process. Now 24 hours later the tooth is pain free. I'll need to return to have a crown installed, and I'm very grateful that the cracked tooth could be saved. Dr. Lipe clearly knows what he's doing and does it well. The entire office staff and the assistant were kind and competent, including dealing with my insurance. Highly recommended! UPDATE: Dr. Lipe wanted to keep the temporary crown in place for several months to make sure the tooth was going to be OK before investing in the creation and installation of a permanent crown. Fortunately, my tooth could be saved, so the permanent crown was put on a couple of days ago. It feels and looks wonderful. Dr. Lipe took great pains to make sure it was perfect. He and his entire staff are so kind and competent-- it's a real pleasure to go to the dentist-- no, really!!

Able to do normal dental work and also dental surgery, Dr. Lipe can do about anything with your teeth you need done. I've found him to be conservative in his approach, not doing more than necessary, but informing you clearly about the pros and cons of doing the work or waiting. His staff is warm and friendly. This is my second review of Lipe DDS. My first was not very nice as I was not happy with the results. I went through the process of having two tries for an implants that went bad,. I don't know what the cause was but it was not fun and expensive. SO, what happens when things don't go well is the most telling. Dr.Lipe gave me three more appt. for a bridge vs implant which I am happy with and he did the whole procedure for free as he felt bad about the results we had with the Implants. This has deminstrated to me a high degree of professionalism and integrity. I am happy with his work and I will continue to use him for my dental work.

Appointment was on-time. Dr. Lyons' staff were very professional, courteous and friendly. I was a first time patient and hadn't been to the dentist for over three year. I was a bit apprehensive about Dr. Lyons' findings. Her exam was thorough and she gave me a "clean bill of dental health." Dr. Lyons fully explained her exam and provided me with advise for continued good dental hygiene. She was also vey professional and had an excellent "bed side manner." I would recommend (and will do so) to anyone who wants to feel good about going to the dentist. Her dental hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth. She was remarkably gentle yet did a thorough and complete cleaning. I would give Dr. Lyons and her entire staff more than 5 stars if I could!

I had the start of a gum infection. I called and they had an appointment available that afternoon. When I arrived, my insurance wasn't accepted. Not their fault at all my own policy restrictions, they allowed me to pay out of pocket. I was fixed up in no time at a very reasonable price.The staff were all very nice and attentive as well as knowledgeable about my situation. Dr. Lipe was cool and informative walking me through each step and educating me on how to prevent this from happening again. Dr. Lipe is an incredible dentist! I'm not sure what took me so long to leave this review as had been a patient of his for over 20 years. The only reason I am not now is because we moved out of state. He is very knowledgeable in his field any many different aspects of dentistry. I've had basic dentistry as well as more in depth proceudures, and I've been pleased with all of the outcomes. He's treated my whole family including our kids and their orthodontics. He is fair with his pricing and does not do unnecessary work. I would only be so lucky to find another dentist as good as he is, but I'm not sure that'll happen. His office staff is also very accommodating and friendly as well. You will not be disappointed if you make an appointment with Dr. Lipe.

Recently had to switch dentists because of insurance and my old dentist recommended me to Dr. Carl F Lipe here in Denver. My insurance plan was not very good so I was pretty nervous. I've been in a few times in the last two months and every time the staff is super friendly and smiling. Carl is easy to talk with and unlike most dentists he takes the time to remember what we talked about and who I am. One thing I've noticed the most is he does a good job with shots and my bill was less than quoted by others. I will be recommending this dentist to friends and family!
